Have you heard about Shareables yet? It's brand new from Geocaching HQ, and here's the fun part — you don't have to go find anything new (or pay anything extra) to start collecting them.
If you've found a cache that now has a Shareable attached, it's just sitting there waiting for you to claim it. No new hides, no new finds. Just caches already in your log, waiting to hand you something.
Here's exactly how to go check.
Step 1: Head to Your Player Dashboard
Log into Geocaching.com and click on your profile in the top corner. From there, select "View Profile."
Step 2: Find Your Geocaches Found
On your profile page, look for the "Geocaches" section and click "All Geocache Finds." This is the part that trips people up — it's not always front and center, so keep an eye out for it in the profile menu.
Step 3: Filter for Shareables
Once you're looking at your list of finds, Click the filters options near the top. Select "Shareables: Contains a Shareable." Toggle that on, and hit "Apply".
Step 4: Claim It
Your list will now only show caches you've found that have a Shareable attached. Click into any cache on the list. If you see "You previously found this cache: Claim this Shareable," go ahead and click it!
That's it — it's yours. 🧭
